the last day of school

 We are so thankful for a great 3rd grade and Pre-K year this year!! Grayson and Carter were both blessed with wonderful teachers -- Mrs. Hedstrom, Mrs. Waite, and Mrs. McKay. We wish they'd considering moving up to 4th grade and Kindergarten. :)

Grayson was part of the "green team" during Field Day at CCA. Carter and I enjoyed going around with Grayson and his team to several of the events!

carter's field day

Carter had a super-fun Field Day last Friday. He was so excited!! Nana was his cheerleader, as I was at work that day, and she also got some great pics from their morning together!

let's go fishing!

The boys have been begging to go fishing at one of the ponds in our neighborhood. Jerry picked up a container of nightcrawlers (eww!) and we took the boys last night, after dinner. It was overcast and slightly cool outside... a great night to catch some fish!

jerry's half marathon

Jerry ran the Prairie Fire Half Marathon in a great time of 1:46. He wanted to run a 1:45, but it was really hot (the high reached 102!) and windy that day. We were able to see him cross the finish line!!
