best buddies

Carter, and his good buddy, Paul, love hanging out. They play so well together. Playing with Paul is usually one of the highlights of Carter's week. We have loved our lunch and playdates with Miss Kirsten and Paul!

Uncle Brentley came to visit last weekend, and the boys (and all of us) enjoyed hanging out with him! He was so sweet, and came to both of Grayson's soccer games over the weekend. Grayson scored TWO goals in his game on Sunday, and Uncle Brentley got to see them. Woohoo!

jerry's 6th half marathon

Last Sunday was Jerry's sixth (!!) half marathon. Smokes! He's either highly motivated or crazy. ;) Anyway, we are very proud of him, and love cheering him on as he crosses the finish line. Here's our favorite runner...

 He crossed the finish line with a time of 1:50. We thought it was great! He was disappointed with his time.

kindergarten mother's day tea

One of the kindergarten traditions at CCA is to have a Mother's Day Tea. I was able to attend the Tea this past Friday, and it was lots of fun. Carter and his class had been working very hard on some projects for their moms, a cute song, and a "Is Your Mama a Llama" reading. :)

happy 38th birthday, jerry!

So I'm officially a week behind on the blog, but Jerry celebrated his 38th birthday last Monday. Carter and I took him some birthday balloons that afternoon while he was at work. He brought them home that evening, and took a pic with the boys!

Both of the boys had soccer practice that night, so we celebrated the day before with a yummy dinner at On the Border. Happy birthday, Jerry! We love you!

CHAMPIONS!

The boys played hard again on Sunday, dominating another Kansas City team as well as a McPherson team. That 7am Sunday morning game was chilly, to say the least!!!
